Quick question. I have a 1940 Plymouth (117' wheelbase) and I can purchase pre-bent stainless steel brake lines for a 1940 Dodge (119.5' wheelbase). Anyone have any experience with the two models and know that the lines are the same or not? I'm fairly certain that the master cylinders are the same as well as the junction blocks and that's about it. Thanks!

It would seem only the line back to the rear junction block would be longer, not from there to the wheels.

Chrysler Corp used the same basic axle, brake assembly (front and rear) and engine/tranny combinations for Chrysler, Desoto, Dodge, and Plymouth (note that some models could be ordered different) from 1939 to 1946 (some make lines went before and after this time frame).
With the exception of the the line going to the rear junction block being different due to length of the vehicle, all brake parts should interchange not only between the 4 makes, but between those years as well.
