My father-in-law has a 1967 Austin Healey Sprite MK4 that he's considering selling. It's in superb condition (no rust, etc.) and is kept covered under his carport. He's had it since 1969 and the engine was recently rebuilt and has about 1000 miles on it.

Any ideas on its valuation?

Also, I checked a number of newsgroups and thought rec.autos.antique was the best group to post this. Is there a more appropriate group for my request?

Thanks,

Bill

If it helps, the car has about 57,000 original miles on it.

I had one for a few years. I'd rather just drop it off a tall cliff than let somebody else go through that pain. You may find somebody at about $1500 for it.
