How does the passing gear linkage disconnect from a 1974 350 Turbo Transmission? It connects into the top and on the passenger side of the transmission and runs up to the carburetor linkage.Is there a clip or does it just slide down into the tranny? It is a little greasy and hard to see. Thnks for the help. Tom

it hooks on,,,pull entire cable up,,use needle nose pliers and grab it inside tranny,,you can simply unhook it
