Slant 6 major change came in 1976..... from a forged crank to a cheap, soft,cast iron crank, so the engine after '76 cannot be turbo or supercharged and I doubt you could even add the Power Paks that were offered by Mopar. Al intake and Ex manifolds 4 bb carbs high lift cams etc.... In 1974 compression was lowered and other required changes for no lead/low lead gas Horsepower rating went from 145 to 105

Another thing to check is the pipe going into the carb for the pcv vac. sometimes they clog up and cause poor flow. Used to be the screws on some of the slant 6 carbs would work loose between the castings causing all sorts of problems. Not sure on your year but the push in breather filter would load up with oil too starving the pcv system for air.
