A friend of mine is looking for this device that used to be on a '54 or '56 Cadillac. It was a prism of some sort mounted on the dash that would allow the driver to see stop lights when the sun was directly in your eyes. I've never seen one, but don't doubt their existence. Does anyone have a picture, or know where he can get one? Please help the curiosity is killin

I used to see those as a DIO on lots of GM cars from the '50s, They'd typically mount to the windshield rim, if memory serves. They look a little like a glass shoe heel (small mens' size).

That was an after market item, for cars with after market sun visors, not exclusive to Caddy. Try a automobile flee market.
