I've been trying to figure out what engines the Chevelle 'Cowl Induction' option was available on. For 1970, it was available on the SS-396 and SS-454, no mystery there.

However, for '71-'72 all the literature states that it was only available with the 454. I have heard quite a few claims of 402 and 350 cars with factory-installed Cowl Induction. I'm not sure which to believe.

If anyone has some pertinent information or observations, I would like to hear it, thanks !

Supposedly the cowl induction was only available with the SS option combined with the 402 or 454 engines but there are always exceptions to the rule, or at least there were back then.
