I was checkin out some sites on the internet today and i found something that was a little odd then i started puting 2 + 2 together and found out what was going on.
As i posted in another post here i had been looking for a project car , well in my search i was really wanting a camaro or chevelle.
I found this chevelle
Well it was 7000$ i was thinkin damn thats expensive , and then when i was at the place that i found my next project at i had found this panel
well the panel cost me $800
while i was there the guy told me about his chevelle that he wanted to get restored and was keeping stored in a storage container , he said he brings it out like every couple weeks to wash it and run it then puts it back up , whenever its out people are calling him , some said they seen the car by satalite and he is like cant a guy just bring his car out without all the hassle , well i never asked if it was for sale it seemed he had a connection with the car and i didnt want to bother him.
well today i was looking at a few places i keep an eye on , on the internet to see if they put up any new cars i might like , thats when i really looked at the chevelle pictured above , i noticed the cars in the background and was like wait a sec thats not even there car , its the old mans chevelle.
so i started looking at more of there pictures , the panel $2400 wth! 64 ss impala $4500 would only cost me like 1800
69 grand prix sj $4000 i could buy for 1000.
i guess it just goes to show you , do your homework when looking for cars / projects / parts , alot of these people are out for a buck and dont even own the cars they are selling.
