The backing boards of the door panels on my 1968 skylark conv. are pretty warped but the vinyl and carpeting of same is in good shape. Does anyone have an idea of how to flatten these out. If not does anyone know where I could obtain just the backing boards or for that matter just the board material.

As usual all help will be appreciated.

The material is called Masonite. Lumber yard should have it.

Masonite works fine they have tempered both sides or one side, tempered side is the slick side the best side to shoot with spray glue. Don't overlook gluing plastic over the access holes in the door to prevent warping whatever material you decide to use and clean out the drain holes too. Wolfman Morehead Ubangi, Ubetcha
