Has anyone done a 4x4 conversion? I need a person[s] I can consult with on the internet or telephone as I am doing the 2wheel drive to 4x4 conversion.

I am going to purchase a 1957 Dodge Pickup that has a driveline conversion in progress. It's subbed using RamCharger running gear. The truck is not running. In fact I think the engine needs to be re-positioned and the rear axle moved back a bit. Hoping to find someone who has been through this with a similar vehicle so I could ask ongoing questions if I have problems.

Well, it wasn't a 57 Dodge, but I have a website and newslist dedicated to converting 2wd vans to 4wd. Many of the same principles would apply to your truck. You are welcome to look over my site for ideas and participate in the newslist to squeeze some of the conversion experts for suggestions and advice.

Great site. Saw the first page and bookmarked it so I can go back at my leisure.
