Don't know how else to describe it: It is a replica of a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, that has a fiberglass body on a steel frame; the car is approximately 6 feet long and 18-24 inches wide. These were produced in 1955 and were made available to Ford Dealers as a promotion for the introduction of the 1955 Thunderbird. It is powered by a 6 volt automobile battery and uses a standard starter moter for power. It is intended to be driven by a child.

The history on this particular car is that it was purchased by my grandfather, a Ford dealer, at the time of the introduction of the T-bird. He had me drive it in a few local parades and it was kept in the show room of the dealership for other children to drive around the showroom. I do not have the car at my house right know and I don't remember the name of the manufacturer.

I want to know if anyone is familiar with these and if there is a group that collects them. Any information is appreciated and I would

work (no access to newsgroups there). If this is not the appropriate forum, please direct me to that location.
