Does anyone know of any online license plate frame vendors. I'm looking for the old die-cast metal dealer frames. (Preferably Plymouth) Search engines seem to turn up nothing but vanity frame makers and even E-Bay is a bust.

I've been hunting for the same, looking for the frames from 'Courtesy Rambler of El Cajon.' Shot in the dark, of course...

I can't speak for the original author, but I will say that I've not found much in the way od license plate frames on either site. At least anything that I wouldn't be embarassed to have on the car.

I'd *love* to find a pair of either (a) plain chrome license plate frame as pictured on page 15 of the 1964 Rambler Accessories pamphlet, or (b) metal 'Courtesy Rambler' license plate frame (where my Rambler came from originally), assuming such ever existed.

They had some plain ones in Pep Boys. Obviously they are new, but some folks might could live with one.

The next time I go to the classic junkyard, I'm going to keep an eye out.

Every time I touch the brakes they lock up. It feels as if I've hit a brick wall even wth the lightest touch. Here's what I've done so far: New brake cylinders, inspected the shoes ( they look new) inspected the drums ( they look freshly turned ) Lubricated all the contact points between the shoes, backing plates and carrier assembly, all the brake lines look new, and I took the master cylinder apart and it too looks like it has just been rebuilt. I've had this car for about seven months and I purchased it from someone that was restoring it (a mechanic familiar with these cars). The return springs looked good ( no gaps between coils when removed from the car ).Are these springs still available? If so where? I adjusted the brakes according to the FSM. This is a priority as it's the only thing keeping me from driving this car. Larry G
