Does any one know how to tighten up a very loose front end on a 66 Corvair. At slow speeds it is ok. But at higher speeds it is very squirley. The air pressure is right. With a full tank of gas or empty it doesn't seem to matter.

If you're not running radial tires, that may be cause you drift at highway speeds. You may in fact have some worn out suspension parts and if you want to avoid misdiagnosing the problem, take it to a shop for an estimate. They will tell you exactly what is wrong with the car and you can decide then if it's something you are comfortable replacing yourself.
