How do you find old junkyards to explore. I used get "word of mouth tips" when I lived in NJ ... Imoved to the south eastern part of South Carolina and haven't been able to come up with any places. 51 HUDSON Hornet stuff mostly... Need a rearend at the moment but just like exploring.

Since this is an international forum it is not likely that people from necessarily S. Carolina would read this. But.. I would advise you to set up a 'chat' with some of these guys: http://www.usedpartscentral.com/ search_south_carolina.htm

and try to find out

i had the same problems , most of our junk yards were big names now , not those old mom and pop junkyards , 2 ways i know you can find what your looking for . one thing i did was craigslist / projects , used google search and even though i wanted say a camaro i would search for a mustang , i would google like louisiana mustang / louisiana camaro , louisiana parts car / louisiana project , the reason i searched for all kinds of cars is they might not have a picture of a hudson but might have one in there yard.

you get the idea , then instead of looking at all the weblinks i went to the images tap and looked thru the pictures , omg i have junkyards and cars forsale from everywhere
