Can someone tell me how can I remove the stainless steel molding from the front and back windshield of a 58 Impala without damaging it. Do I need a special tool and if so were do I find one or can I make one? Any help appreciated Thanks

That's the molding that is in the middle of the rubber? You need to get the rubber that doesn't hold the molding and replace it. I'm not too sure whether that year had any models without the molding so you may have a problem getting the rubber and will need to get a long strip and RTV the joint as you install the windshield.
