whilst watching spanish lang news this morn they were showing the life style of the rich and infamous sadam apparently he liked johnny mathas, and had a dvd collection of some hot babes
but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he also seems to be into cars
there definitely was a rolls, silver ghost/shadow? and something that looked like a one-off replicar of ? model T? but i glanced away for a second looked back and they were panning what looked like a 39 ford station wagon
anyone else seen this?
wonder if he is a member of the early ford v8 club, baghdad regional group?

Didn't see that, but I read somewhere that one of his sons (Udai?) had a collection of 400 automobiles, most looted from Kuwait.

The worst part was what our soldiers were ordered to do with them...it nearly brought some of them to tears!

On Wed, 23 Apr 2003 08:58:21 -0700, 'mcameron, bill' There was discussion on the RR mailing list about this. The car is believed to have been a RR Silver Wraith with custom body, which had belonged to the royal family of Kuwait, but no one's positive. A Silver Ghost is unlikely (they're pretty much all accounted for), and a Silver Shadow too common (hell, I bought mine on eBay for seven grand a couple of years ago - it's my daily driver). There was definitely a huge 70s Cadillac, and a soldier interviewed said most heart-breaking was destroying a '57 Chevy BelAir in white and Aquamarine. The car collection seemed well-maintained but not used. The cars were covered with dust and most didn't have gas. The army destroyed them because they felt the cars might have been used to create road-blocks at some point. Emanuel

Can't say for certain it was CNN. Could have been MSNBC or CNBC. I've
also written up in the newspaper here (Tribune) and I think there was a picture.
The other night they showed Usay's car collection, or is it Uday, and those cars were in good shape.

We had a talk about this topic on checvytalk.com on the 55-57 stock group and it was a true story. Links to the stories are posted at the site...

That may be, but are the stories true? That's the question. Several stories have been posted here, as well, but there validity has yet to be corroborated.
