I was just wondering, do folks who collect cars usually collect other things as well?
I find I have a similar collector's interest in coins, antique tools, municipal bonds , and old rocking chairs.

I've thought about this too. Seems like there are collectors and non- collectors, and everyone I know who collect cars, or car parts in some instances, also collects every other kind of thing. In my house, there are two collectors, and three non. The collectors are the messy ones.
I collect sports equipment, gloves, balls, bats. Some are signed, some are for playing with. I also collect bikes, antiques, and their parts. I guess I had something of a municipal bond collection too, inherited, but it was a small collection and it was sold on ebondusa a few months ago to help with the building of a new garage. That's a good resource, by the way, if you want information on your bonds. I've also been known to collect spare piles of wood and scrap metal for possible projects. And I have a fine collection of hunting knives.

Jeffrey,
As for me I now have a 1936 Ford 5 window coupe and a 1964 Buick Rivera (just sold 4 1957 Chevy's) and I collect everything. My wife says I'm worse than a dog about draggin' stuff home...... d:^(

It's not as if I really collect stuff, it's just that I NEVER get rid of ANYTHING.

Yeh, I hear that...I still have some sales brochures from Twentieth Century Motor Car Corp. Y'all recall that one, right? Early '70's. The Dale. Three wheeler. 70 mpg. 4 wheel discs. Corp. President was G. Elizabeth Carmichael. She turned out to be a guy!. Car never was produced. I saw the proto on the showroom floor. Neat. Met 'Elizabeth'. Neat. Never woulda known she was a he. Sheeese, seems like a century ago. ummm, guess it -was-. come to think about it!!
