Anyone have a wiring diagram for this car? I think it has problems in the system but havin a hard time tracing them out. Cant get any spark at all out of it

That shouldn't be a hard problem as the wire from the ign. switch goes to the resistor and from there to the coil. You probably have a burnt

For the '50 I don't think that there is a resistor as the car is a 6V system. You should have 6V at the + side of the coil and you might want to use a pin or needle to test the wire at various points and also check for 6V on the two ends of the fuse for the ign. circuit.

nope...... the resistor checks good with ohm meeter

Does the voltage get to the coil? If not, keep going back to the ign. switch until you find the open. You might also check to see if the points are opening and closing as required.
